What is Jodlio?

Jodlio is a money app for everyday life in India. It keeps your personal expenses and income, your monthly budget, the bills you share with friends, family or roommates, and the money you have lent or borrowed, all in one place.

How does splitting work?

When you add a group expense, tick the people who shared it. With an equal split, ₹900 between three people is ₹300 each. If you paid, you are owed the other ₹600, and you are never charged twice. You can also split by exact amounts or percentages.

Can I add expenses by speaking?

Yes. Tap the mic and say something like “₹450 for dinner with Rahul”. Jodlio understands English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and other Indian languages, including a mix like Hinglish, and shows you the entry to confirm before saving.

What counts towards my budget?

Your personal expenses plus your own share of group expenses. If you pay ₹900 for a group and your share is ₹300, only ₹300 counts. Income, money owed to you, settlements and loan repayments are not spending.

Does Jodlio move money?

No. Jodlio records payments; it doesn’t move money. Pay the way you already do, by UPI, cash or bank transfer, then record it. When you record that you paid someone, they confirm they received it.

What does “Simplify” mean?

Jodlio suggests the fewest payments that settle everyone in a group. It only changes who pays whom, never what anyone owes in total.

Who can see a loan I record?

A private loan is visible only to you. If you share it with someone’s Jodlio email, they must accept it before it counts, and you both then see the same balance.

Which languages does the app support?

The app is available in 12 languages: English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Urdu, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam and Punjabi.

Can I export or delete my data?

Yes. You can export your data, clear your personal records, or delete your account at any time from your profile.
